Tung sols, Sovtek's and JJ's all seem to take the 700V (only 350 on the screens).

I tried both 5881 Sovteks and the Tung Sols in my 700v MM Both sounded good but for some reason settled on the 5881's... I know having the 700v on the plates limits you a bit in the 6L6 category..Being more of a 6L6 guy wondered if anyone has tried something else (other than the aforementioned) possibly in the GC' style in that topology with any luck!!... Hey Brandon cure my curiosity here.. The Dumble amps you've seen with the Peavey Iron in it.. Which Peaveys did he swipe them out of and did you get a different vibe with those than the Fender Iron.. Better worse subjective.. Thanks

Deuce/Ultra 120/5150 Sound GREAT!! the old PV amps had GREAT components, not necessarily great circuits, but the components were great!
