I don't recommend it.
Those boards with on on-board power supply will either requite long AC runs or long signal runs which is certain to introduce noise.

Hey everybody,

The D’Lite chassis are in production, transformers are right behind them so it’s time to take pre-orders.

This is a big project, and I have a lot of parts to order. My goal is to raise sufficient funds to place large enough orders to avoid a split run.

If enough people order the kits now, it will give me the capital I need to accommodate everybody’s needs….otherwise it will most likely be split into two phases.

Regardless of kit availability, chassis will ship as soon as they’re ready…around the 1st

If you want a kit, and you wait to order, it may add waiting time to your kit order for the second wave to of transformers and parts to come in.

Consider it a pre-order shipped in approx. 3 weeks from today…possibly sooner, but I’m going on outside estimates from the various vendors.

As an additional incentive I’m offering a $20 OFF coupon for those that place orders before 12/18.

Here’s the link:

BTW...we settled on Vibrolux iron from Heyboer for the Standard Kit and it sounds absolutely frickin stellar!!! I’ll have new clips soon, but imagine all out singing sustain blooming into controlled feedback with no pick attack at all…just place your finger behind any fret and…ahhhhhhhhhhh…you hear that sustain?

An added bonus with the vibrolux iron is that it works very well with 6L6’s for a big boost in power and clean headroom. I’ve been playing it biased for 6L6’s for several hours now and I really like what I’m hearing….A LOT!

Based on email responses, we went with tubes down for this run. I think once people realized that tubes up meant Marshall style with the input jack on the right, the tide changed.

Are you open to having the cabs without any logos?

Here's a sneak peek at the D'Lite 1x12 wide-body combo cab:

I'll have some head cabs to show off in a couple days, along with the prices,
and a detailed update.

Excellent news/update on the transformers!

I have a boatload of NOS Tung-sol 5881's that I would like to be able to use in Dumble-esq builds. But...would also like the ability to try 6v6's as well.

Brownnote: I notice that you are offering transformer sets for the D'lite22 and I am VERY interested in a procurement. Are these the ones (OT in particular) that you mention in this thread? Any chance that you could provide/direct me to dimensions on these? I am envisioning a build that might present some cramped quarters.

Happy New Year & TIA,
Dave O.
