Greg
also the tele he has in that interview is the guitar he used 1/2 through the show and then his Gold Top. Travis was on bass but a differnernt drummer.
Note the video you just posted sounds like sh*t compared to the live tone from last night maybe bad mic or my computer speakers

I can dig it, that is a beautiful guitar.
BTW Greg from some of your vids that Ive seen you are getting tone even RF wants to acheive. Keep those clips comin
Thank you for the kind words. Once you start to achieve Robben's tone it's hard to get away from it. I have partly to thank Jon Mernyk and Shad @ Quinn amps for making great amps.
Don't qoute me but Yes, Taku was murdered by a man with a knife, late at night when he was leaving his shop. Such a sad story, his guitars were top notch & beautiful. I've seen some go for as high as $25,000 +.
So Sad man
Hey Boldas I see your in NY check RF's site hes got some dates coming very soon over there. The guy that opened last night was Jonathan Mceuen from OjaI AS WELL and I think hes tourin, betwwen him and RF man that was a fun show
Actually I think that Chorus is a new SCH-Z. Modded with a real switch for True ByPass. Robbens board changed after he started playing with Landau. Landau has been using that old Chorus as a "fake-Leslie" for decades.

Robben is under bad influence
When will he start using an Ibanez SD9 and a Mayer Voodoo1 as booster??
Well he's an artist - and wants/ needs to experiment.
I've seen him in Copenhagen a number of times. The first time in 1993 ('Robben Ford and the Blue Line' tour) he played a dumble and a rental fender twin. A couple of years later (1995 - 'Handfull of blues' tour) , he played two rental Fender "red knob" twins - through a pedal board with two tubescreamers and a Chrome Vox wah wah....and he sounded unbelievable.
One of my best concerts ever.
I know! I've seen him numerous times in Copenhagen too. We probably met. Vega, Pumpehuset (RIP) and a couple of times in Malmö and Lund on the other side of the pond. Sometimes a Dumble, sometimes a rental Twin with a Tube Screamer, EB Volume and TC Chorus. First time I saw him was in Lund when the first Blue Line album came out in 1992
