Thanks Sluckey. I had actually used the led approach on a blackface tremolo, but preferred the sound of it with the resistor and capacitor....

This time I just didn’t have any handy

This is not just a LED. It's a VTL5C1 optocoupler. Much stronger and smoother than the Fender neon roach and no ticking. Much stronger and smoother than the power tube grid bias tremolo plus no more trem vs bias hassles or pumping.

Just thought it might interest you since you are messing around with trem.

Vatctrol? that's what is used in the Demeter Tremulator that they made for Ry Cooder.
