well a fitting end to this story is:
It went to it's new home today. A great UK guitar player called Nick Kendal(he's actually south African) who's been a Two Rock guy for a while, just fell in love with the #183.
it was nice to see him leave with a big smile on his face and a message saying he felt like he was 5 again and it was Christmas

I don't need any more ODS amps. I've three now and to be honest I could get by with just one of them, well plus a spare
the only way I'll build another ODS is if someone gives me a lot of money to do so.
I still need a grab and go small combo with reverb so that will be my next build, just need to decide what to do.
