Here is the Visio of 124 so far if someone wants to add to the layouts authenticity..I do ask if you do to repost the Visio if you update it so others can do the same...Please feel free to change what ever you like as this is now property of the Amp Garage...If you don't have a copy of Visio and would like to add a comment about the type of componets or layout feel free to put it in a post so others can update it....If no one wants to fool with it I will be happy to nail it down it when I get back from vacation next week...Don't be shy please contribute.. Good Luck

Guys, this is awesome. It's helping me complete a build I got from VoodooBlues in a Funk chassis.

Question regarding the 330R resistor opposite side but between the 330R and 1N4003 diode by V6 and V7. What do the leads of that 330R connect to?

Also, if I'm not planning on using the half power switch, do I simply omit the yellow leads that run from pin 8 of V5 and V7 along with the switch?

That 330R resistor and the diode are for the power light on the front panel. If you are not doing the 'half-power' then just bring all 4 6L6 cathodes right to the grounding points between the tubes (or put 1ohm resistors in series, as some people do).

Thanks, Racer.

I can see the resistor and diode that go to the light, but opposite those two is a 330R. I'm not sure what the leads of that resistor go to.

Ok, I see it now, the one floating in air. That one is not supposed to be there.

Haha, that makes much more sense. I was looking and looking at the schematic and couldn't see where it was supposed to go.

Very nice layout.
One small error i spotted is that the wire from the bright switch should connect to the middle lug of the volume pot.

Another little one: FET component is rotated 180 degrees from where it should be.

This is minor, but by making the manual OD and PAB switches blue it implies they are toggle switches. But they were slide switches. Because of the switch function, the wiring between a slide switch and toggle will be reversed.

Tony, you need to run a ground from the 2x10 uf cap can over to the ground lug by the input jacks. Also, add a nut to the rectifier board.

Tony,

Got another one for ya...

the parallel ceramic .01uF caps for the Jazz position to ground should be series to get 5nF.

Awesome layout! 8)
