One catch is that D Allen doesn't sell that power transformer anymore, and he didn't respond to an inquiry about it a year or so ago. I got a quote from Heyboer, and the cost was close to $50 each for a lot of 10. One alternative would be to use a couple of flat-pack units, one for the filaments (Hammond 229E12) and one for the HT (Hammond 229A230). On the 229A230, the secondary voltage is 230VAC, but the HT voltage should be close since that is at 115VAC on the primary and the current rating is 25mA. These are cheap, around $12 each, and the footprint is only 1.56" x 1.88".

Thx, but I have an xformer, not the Allen but a D-Lator xformer that I bought years ago from Brandon M. With a voltage doubler PS I'll get correct voltages.
