Curious what the specs for the PT you used? I tried a Deluxe Reverb PT but with the solid state rect. I got 450VDC B+, maybe I should change the OT and PUT 6L6's in???? :?

That's the Antique Electronics Supply no-name (Marvel?) Princeton power transformer. SS rectification yields around 420V.
