Thanks Greg
This is the first Dumble I have seen which does not have laydown PT and separate 6volt trannie.

Re: Dumble #177 HRM
Everybody, you're welcome! This forum has given me so much knowledge so I'm happy I can contribute.
It's hard to compare it to anything I've built because it's different than that of anything I've built. A friend of mine has an HRM I built a while back that I'm going to convert to 177's spec's as soon as it comes in for a re-tube so we'll see.
Yes #177 is one special and great sounding amp. I prefer non-HRM's but #177 sounds unlike any HRM clone I've built or tried.dcribbs1412 wrote:Thanks boldaslove6789
did you have a chance to hear it?
if so how did it compare to anything you've built or heard here.

Re: Dumble #177 HRM
It's a shame he gooped this amp. It's one of his cleanest builds (that I've seen) aside from that blob of alien spunk on the preamp board..
Any idea who it was built for and why it has the special voicing?

Re: Dumble #177 HRM
AFAIK the original owner's main guitar was in fact a Telecaster. The amp currently resides with a second owner.
