I heard from one source he had back surgery, and it was denied by someone else who said "he's in great shape, just wanted time off". He was at NAMM in the Ludwig booth for a signing, and looked great. Oddly, Cheap Trick was playing the Schecter party the same night, and Bun was nowhere to be seen...Daxx played drums.
