Tom:
Mine has Brite, Mid Boost, and Deep, like you're proposing. I love it.

As far as re-labeling, Henry (Red Plate Amps/Heistl) has an effective solution that he used on my pre-labled chassis. You may want to contact him to see what he uses.

Glad you're having fun with this. Hope your cardiac issues are resolved, also.

Well I was trying to wire the heaters today.
Man I hate that.

I should have ordered solid core 20 gauge......

The 18 gauge stranded is much too fat to fit the eyelets on the tube sockets. (of course)

I thought the sockets I used would allow it but no dice.

I even tried to use some 20 gauge stranded and it won't fit either.
The wire seems fatter than the gauge it is supposed to be, I may have to mic it to see what gauge it actually is.

I HATE HEATERS!

Tom,
I've always tried to stay with 18 ga. solid core for the heaters. After spending alot of time searching different wire sources, I found that Tube Depot carries a solid core 600V cloth wire in different colors. I received some today. I really didn't prefer to go with cloth wire, but that's all I could find in 18ga. solid.
I've used cloth wire before and never had any issues with it.

Don't like wiring heaters too but since it's one of the last step before powering it up when I build those D amps it's fine as most of the work is already done.

I use 18 Ga solid cloth wire and ask my wife to hold one end when I twisted the pairs, this wire is a bit hard to install and solder properly (same green color for both runs) but once twisted it stay that way.

20 AWG 600V solid core PVC for me. Works fine for the 100W and is relatively painless. I actually don't mind doing the heaters.

Hi Hans,

A couple guys in Canada had these chassis made.
I think currently they are sold out but they are going to make another run.

Not sure if they will ship over seas.
Keep an eye open in the For Sale section for future updates.

I get it from Mouser. Got to order in rolls though, something like 600ft per roll  .
