Re: ODS Footswitch
Thanx Tom. I looked that diagram over again and maybe it's pin 1 that goes to common ground in the chassis and pins 2, 3 and 4/5 that are the positives. I will get back into it tomorrow.
Re: ODS Footswitch
DIN pins are numbered 1,4,2,5,3 left to right viewed from the customer side with the key pointing down. I use these footswitches all the time and they work great. In fact I got Cliff USA to make me some with the DIN (MIDI) connector already mounted in the footswitch. Here is how I wire them depending on if I want light on with relay on or light off with relay on (which is how they are wired when you get them):

David this is how i have wired the din jack in my amp for the same footswitch.
That way the green wire of the footswitch cable becomes the common ground.Red wire is positive for relay1,white for relay 2 and yellow for the third one.
I have wired the switches like heisthl showed in his second diagram and it's working faultless.

One other thing to keep in mind if you're going to use a MIDI cable with DIN jacks on the amp and footswitch is the shield. Standard MIDI cables will have the shield tied to pin 2. Pretty much any consumer grade MIDI cable is either going to be a 4 conductor with shield (all pins active) and there are even some cheaper cables that are only 2 conductor with shield (pins 2, 4 & 5 active).

Re: ODS Footswitch
Gents, thank you all. Now with this new info I think I can put it all together.
I had assumed the pins were consecutively numbered.

Success!
Got it! Hallelujah! Thanx to all.
Just for others' use, below is how it should look. (Ignore the messy wiring job!). LEDs on when relay is on. Green wire goes to pin 4 of plug, corresponding chassis jack connection goes directly to ground. Pins 1, 2 & 3 go to relay board according to which Ampdoc arrangement you are using, or what you work out yourself.
CORRECTION: Depending on the relay position on the FSW, in playing position view, you can move red yellow and white around. For example to get three in line from right to left on the FSW, corresponding to the Ampdoc relay positions R to L, switch the yellow and white positions, so from R to L it would be yellow, white, red.
