My OTS seems to sound very good with a Tungsram in V1 and gold pin EH in V2 and V3. These tubes really made a huge improvement in the sound. I also cleaned up the lead dress as per Scott's OTS comments in another thread about your amp. This might help get your OTS back on track. I'm also in NJ if you'd like to compare sounds and swap tubes. That said, I would never expect any OTS to go head to head with a 100 watt Bludo. Boxter vs. Turbo Carrera IMHO. Both very cool cars, but different classes.
