seriously!? You'd ask that question in the dumble forum where they require your first born for out-of-line questions? :P

I'd start by searching this site and looking at what others have done. Also check out brownnote's kits http://www.brownnote.net .

Someone on this forum says it best in his sig:
"Why buy it new when you can build it for twice the price?"
What this really means is when you do it from scratch sourcing parts from multiple vendors and paying all that shipping gets really expensive. You want to avoid this by getting a kit.

The good news is with no experience you only have to build about 5 of them to know what your doing. Seriously start with something simple like a 5E3 kit and then decide if you want to tackle a D style.

You should do a metro JTM 45 for your first amp. Great instructions and support.

I would start here: http://ax84.com/classicprojects.html

This is a great article for newbies: http://ax84.com/p1/P1_Theory_Document.zip

All your questions will be answered! (Well, maybe one or two anyways...)
