D'lite

Post by iorr »

Hi;
I'm new to the forum and have a question.
Is there someone who has combined the d-lite preamp with a SE poweramp (5 watt).

Nö, Karsten... Nope, Karsten

schau hier:

Allen Class Act
Es ist ein völlig anderer Preamp, aber der Ton ist Dumble-artig.
Damit sollte es eine gute Basis fürs Tuning sein.
->totally different preamp with similar Dumble tone. Good starting point for tweaking.
If you don't feel comfortable with SE, go D'Lite.

Ciao

PS: just had the opportunity to check my keyboard's German Umlaute: öäüß :twisted:

I tried that years ago, long before the D-Lite. The conclusion was that a lot of the classic Dumble tone comes from the PI and power section. It just never sounded like a Dumble. It didn't sound bad, just not a Dumble.

I ended up converting it to a Plexi like SE amp and selling it. The new owner seemed happy with it.
