Harper:Dumble made me a 100-watt Overdrive Special combo from scratch. It's a new step for me sonically because it offers a preamp boost for both the clean and the overdrive sounds. It's like having the most otherworldly overdrive pedal built right into the the amp.
Is Dumble still building ODO combos?

If D made #109 for Ben Harper, he must be a lot older than he looks! We also show off some of Harper’s favorite gear, including his Weissenborns, Dumble amp #109 and the new Martin signature model he has.

Re: Ben Harper in July 2009 GP
The whole GP article talks about a number of Dumbles that Harper uses and where he got them from. But the quote seems to reference a new build. I am also curious about his PAB statement - I understood that PAB was functional whether the OD was engaged or not - or am I missing something?

The PAB should work on clean as well as OD.
It just lifts the tone stack so it removes that loss and boosts the volume.

How many Dumble's has he got now? 3 or 4?
I know he's got a combo and he used this head/cab thing when I saw him in December.
