Gil's method will check the return amp of the loop.. PI, and output section.. My method will check the send side of the loop, relays and master volume ..Also the wire going to the masters input from the relays might need to be shielded... Could be an oscillation generator

I typed a reply last night and now it's gone.
Anyway, I installed the Ironsounds loop pretty early on in the build on this.
I seem to recall someone saying that you can use a higher fidelity chip in the socket on it.
I don't remember what chip it even uses anymore and since it is upside down I'll have to remove it to check it out.
One thing that kind of comes back to my old brain is that it seems that this fizzing problem started back when I changed the PI plates to 110K/120K.
I could be mistaken.
My problem is that when I did a lot of these mods to the amp I didn't install one, listen to the change, install another one, listen, etc.
So now it's difficult to figure out when this noise started.
So I'll try bypassing the loop, run my signal straight to the PI to see which half of the amp the noise is generated in.
