New ODS #124 born

Post by flatart »

hi,
this mail just to share with you my new "baby" and to thank everybody in this great forum. Here some pics of my new amp. I can't say that this is a real Dumble clone: this is a 50W ampli based on ODS #124 schematics without the acustic input and rock/jazz switch.
This is the 5th ampli I build but this was really a challenge for me and I'm really impressed with the final result cause it sounds great and hope to record some samples next weekend to share with you.
Thanks againg to everybody in this forum: really I found everything I need to build this ampli.

Digging the reverse layout. I'm going to do something non traditional on my first build but haven't decided what yet.

What chassis did you use & measurements?

Nice lookin' build - the cap on the bass pot looks overly large in physical size, you sure it's a .001?

about the bass cap it should be a .001 but you make me doubt, this evening I will check (!!)
