But, FWIW, those 100W Marshall trannies sound freaking awesome. One of my favorites.
My previous Dumble clone had a Marshall replacement OT, an HAMMOND Guitar Series to be picky...
Had a primary imp. of 1700ohm and 4,8 and 16 ohm tap.
The amp was running with 6L6GC at 470v B+ and had a great percussive and middy tone, it was not bottom heavy but had a full, round clean and OD tone.
Now I've got another amp, and the OT is custom built on optimal 6L6 spec...the sound is bassier, heavier, more scooped and tighter than the previous amp...on the OD it's a clear winner, on the cleans I prefer the other...
