Bluesmaster Layout?

Post by Tone Pilgrim »

Just got my new D'Lite 44 with Bluesmaster mod kit. I hear rumor that there is a Bluesmaster Layout diagram on the forum somewhere but have been unable to track it down. Anyone out there know where one is? I've got pics and schematics but a layout diagram would sure be helpful.

Thanks.

Hi robert - welcome here! I don't think what you are looking for exists but we can get you there regardless.
Good threads with good pics here.

I don't think there is a layout per say for a Bluesmaster amp.

There are a couple schematics around that illustrate the different values that the BM calls for.

The one I posted at Brown Note is one of the better ones because it shows the BM values along with the original values to show the difference.

Thanks everyone. This forum can't be beat. Moss and Normster also gave me some of the value changes over on the Brown Note forum:

I'm getting all of the hardware laid out today. I'll try to post some pictures as I go. Thanks again.

There seems to be some confusion between a layout and a schematic. :P

D'Lite 44 Bluesmaster

Post by Tone Pilgrim »

Okay. Here's a layout diagram I drew up based on the layout that JimiB poseted above.

https://tubeamparchive.com/files/visio_ ... is_188.pdf

It's that circuit re-worked to fit on the standard Brown Note D'Lite board in a 44 watt format. Let me know your thoughts or if you see anything glaringly wrong. Thanks.

Oh yeah, and based on Dave's suggestions, we made a few value changes as well.

bluesmaster layout

Post by telechuck »

Does anyone know how this layout would work with a BN D'lite 22/33 (6L6) non-HRM? OR do you have to have the HRM for this circuit to sound great?

Just curious if this circuit has been verified. It looks pretty cool.

Don't use the Ceriatone BM layout as the tonestack is not correct.
