I got my order from Mouser.

The part number I ordered was 531-PT10H-25K

But they sure don't look like the one on Steve's amp.

It's hard to judge but mine seems smaller and of course is black in color vs the white one on Steve's amp.

I just want the thing big enough to be able to solder it into the circuit.

Do they substitute parts?

I think it says PiHER SPAIN on the back in the black plastic.

The number on the edge is 25K614M.

I included a picture of Steve's trimmer and two shots of the one I got.

Tom,

That is the same part number that I used.

That looks like the same Trimmer, just with a Black casing.

My brother lives in Astoria... :)

The white trimmer looks like a cermet. Same size, different resistive element, higher power rating. The numbers are all pretty close so it's hard to order the right one sometimes.

531-PT10H-25K - 10mm carbon, vertical mount, horizontal adjust (.15watt)
531-PTC10H-25K - 10mm cermet, vertical mount, horizontal adjust (.33watt)
531-PT15B-25K - 15mm carbon, vertical mount, horizontal adjust (.25watt)
