Nice sound, nice playing too. What speakers did you try with this amp?
They sound nice but also a little honky on some frequencies.

I might miss something but at least I've tried:
weber 1265C
Celestion greenback
Eminence legend V12A
Eminence red white and blues
Celestion heritage 1265
..and now the Eminence delta pro-12A

Btw. one thing more I noticed was that the amp is now easier to play. It might be also the few tweaks I've done to the amp..

Curious about that DIY mic... Can you expand?

Here is a picture of the DIY mic (I made two). I have different capsules on different XLR's to change the sound. When disconnecting the XLR it cuts the 9V battery.
I can't find the page I found the instructions for the mic anymore

I guess EVM to Delta comparison will have to wait. The EVM12L I bought off ebay was blown. Not a big problem as the seller agreed to pay return shipping and refund 100%, but I'm dissapointed.

Power tubes are 2xJJEL34. Its an separate master nonHRM with skyline tonestack. The V1 has 100k plates and 10uF cathode bypass caps. Built in dlator. Gil's OD treble bleed.

I'll check them out next time I open the amp. V2 are high plates.
