Are you mentioning these for info - or for sale?? :) You would be advised to do a build with them. Love my D-clone with MM iron.........

REALLY!!!!
That's interesting I would think it would lean on the bright and harsher side.. especially in OD.. Thanks Scott for the Pictures...Well I'll just have to go here...I got several of these Trannies I'll go through them and if I have any extra I'll post them here first at a reasonable price... Thanks

Isn't MM = Mercury Magnetics ??

If so, it is alive and kicking www.mercurymagnetics.com and they do have fine Iron. I've used the FTBO-MM bassman for my ODS50. Fine piece

I use these all the time, they sound great- I actually have custom PT's made up to fit my chassis, but I use the RD-130 output trannies as well-

they are not bright or harsh at all, one of my personal favorites!

Thanks Brandon... Sorry I missed you @ the Amp show I heard your amps crushed...I want to play one sometime...I am going to try and build it in this little head... 2 EL-34's with 700 volts on the plates dissapate 70 80 watts...going to try and fit the hybrid in this little thing most likely have to put the OD Drive and Level controls on the back...Wish me luck..

Awwww.... That's a cute amp what is it..... Not much just an 80 watt Hybrid Model Overdrive Special... I take it with me for these little events like this one..... Oh do you know where the bar is!!!! LOL!!!

Actually, we did chat in the elevator after the show, and the next morning out front :D

Make sure you look at the load lines for this type of plate voltage, I think you'll find that a pair of EL34's are going to want to see a much higher plate to plate impedance at that kind of voltage, My guess is around 9K-

The MM's also run the screens at 1/2 the plate voltage-

Do a non-HRM and use an internal IM trim for the volume and set it to 5, use a .02 treble cap (full time mid boost)use a 100k to ground for the Ratio, have OD on all the time (no relays). If you tweak the OD right it will be clean with the drive at low settings and everything can be on the front. If you want a really small main board layout let me know.
