EVM12L VS EV Black Shadow (Mesa B.)

There are differences of sound between these two speakers? or are the same speakers?

Sergio,

There were a few different types of EVM 12Ls over the years. The Black Shadow was the same as the OEM 200W version of the speaker but with a label on it, and a very good sounding specimen. :) I like those very much, as well as the Series II EVM 12L, 200W ones. The 300W speakers are said to not sound so good. I only tried two of them and they were new, so that could account for the differences I heard: they seemed to be brighter and a little stiffer sounding.
