Does anybody know which schematic the Ceriatone layout is based upon?
Although there are heaps of info here, for which I guess we all are quite happy, the consistency is rather low.
If someone of those who know, would care to link together layouts and schematics, - in one or more reference files, I think all would benefit.

Aurora,
Every Dumble amp is different, there were no 2 alike. this may account for the "lack of consistency".
There is only 1 set of Dumble pictures with the RTV removed in the public domain, that is the only dumble Nik from Ceriatone has ever seen. That amplifier is #124, and there are photographs of that amp at www.photobucket.com under screen name amp_guy.
I believe the log in is still ods_amp.

Because of all the reason's stated by Funk, I thought a #124 would be a good first project, and I am very happy with the result. I'd like to contribute an accurate layout from my already built amp, as it followed the pictures pretty closely. However, I don't have the right software to do it at this time.

I read a recent interview with Robben Ford in the Swedish "Fuzz" magazine. He said that once when rehershing for a a gig with Larry Carlton they tried plugging into the others Dumble ODS. Both were amazed to find that the other guys amp sounded terrible...Funkalicousgroove wrote: Every Dumble amp is different, there were no 2 alike. this may account for the "lack of consistency".
