Dlator chassis II

Post by angelodp »

I am finding these enclosures for nothing and they seem to be a good way to do a Dlator. I have a build in progress with a similar unit ( CD burner - old one ) This is another enclosure that has this oddball combo IEC/ on/off socket. Can this be used in the Dlator circuit.

Great find. There's nothing really odd about the IEC socket, just a switch and most likely a varistor. Check and see if there's a fuse in it too. Should be good for a D-Lator.
