Excellent, thanks! Will try both. I'm almost ready to fire her up too... Usually like to take time to go over the build 2 times to make sure I didn't miss anything... but soon.

Hi Phil,
I never saw a followup to your build of this amp. Did you ever finish it?
The circuit does remind me a bit of the Ampliphonix and Gain of Amplified Nation, though in that amp you can switch the channel via a relay IIRC.
What I think is interesting about the amp, is that there is some substantial cutting of high end in the second triode (2n over the plate resistor). Just one treble speaker circuit too. Rather different from what a Marshall 2203 is about. So yeah, while it might not be Dumble's most innovative circuit, there still are enough differences to more regular 3 gain stages + CF. Maybe some good lessons to be learned here when it comes to the 'Ripper' circuit as well.

Re: Dumble Modded Bassman Layout/Schematic
OH yes I did a final video showing it powering up and working but have never done a demo, it basically happened right before covid hit and I effectively found next to 0 motivation to do the video. I just recently moved and haven't completed unpacking etc, so I'm trying to get to a point that I can 'finally' do that demo. It does sound outstanding. I also have one more build from parts donated to me, I'm going to build a #102 with the PCB's designed by AA Electronics in London, that was donated to me by ProfessorMudd (as well as the chassis and some other components) and then the passive components are actual NOS that were donated by Smitty (resistors, caps etc, are all 'correct' from his stash). I'll get to it gents I promise!
I bought the transformers from rooster for the OT and choke I think? Or was it PT? I'd have to double check, I just need the other Trafo, and then things like pots, tube sockets (I may ahve some laying around) Etc
