for the updated layouts clearly show a separated ground bus for the cathodes of the preamp tubes and how all that seems to be grounded.
So my question is:
- how does that "separated ground bus for the cathodes of the preamp tubes" compares to the "usual" (example given: à la Trainwreck) common bus (bar) where the cathodes are tied close/after the corresponding controls?
(noise-wise)
Any clue?
I sure could have been doing my homework, that is try and compare the two schemes on the same build but I (am feeling lazy &) would be glad to read about any experience you could already have about this subject...
good grounding is when your amp not humm (too.much ) so you start with one and finish who knows with what ref.
the most tricky.grounding is the fx loop grounding, ref ampeg V4.
for the preamp.section you just bolt terminal to the chassis below input jack, bring there cathodes of first stage and minus pole of el.capacitor for this stage.
