Humbly Submitting DLite Vids for Viewing........

Hey All,

I've been on this board for quite awhile and while I don't post much, I've learned tons.

Early last year, I built a DLite and I've been gigging and recording with it since. Here's a few videos of a live show where I used a DLite with a little delay/modulation thrown in on a tune.

Most everything here is DLite with EV 12" open back and CAD Triton ribbon right up close, slightly off axis. My playing is certainly not in the traditional Robben Ford/Larry Carlton vein, but the DLite suits me well for this application and I really appreciate the tones and vibe that I get playing it with different guitars. In the vids, I use a G&L ASAT Classic Custom and Legacy as well as a Heritage 335.

Thanks to everyone for your knowledge and help! As we all know, I couldn't have gone to the local GC and bought an amp with this tone.....

Howdy Dogears! Thanks for the nice words.

Yep, it's a promo shoot. Actually the singer/songwriter is my wife. We've been "playing" together since 1995, and married since 1997.

She (we) is chasing her dream. It's been temporarily put on hold........we're expecting our second child tomorrow! We'll be back at it in a couple of months.

I should probably point you guys toward "Living your Life" for the most Dumble-inspired sounds. The other songs are a little less what may be expected of the DLite sound. "Ready to Forgive" has no guitar.....just a heads-up.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for your time and opinions. Like many of you, I tend to lean toward guitar-driven music so Shawni's (my wife) tunes are a bit of a stretch for me musically. She's really a talented singer/songrwriter/musician but I fear that her songs fall into the dreaded "Adult Contemporary" classification and are therefore pretty commercially irrelevant.

We've got a great local audience however, we're trying to do some modest promotion to book some theater-type gigs like this one-hence the video.

If you guys have any further suggestions or comments, please let me know!

Chris - Nice grooves and the tone is a d'lite - complements the tunes well.

Well played/sung and the trombone gives a distinguishing quality to the mix.

I'm guessing the new rig was a nice kick-along in the tone stakes.

All in all a Peak System
