It is my understanding that the corner frequency is then 14.5Hz for HAD's and 636.9Hz for Gil's. (SNIP)
Is there a schematic somewhere that shows these with common values in a Dumble?

Read my post. 123 is not a treble bleed IMHO. It is a loading circuit because 123 had the OD feeding the 1M master with no ratio pot.

Re: HF Taper Jibba Jabba
there is no ratio control on the old ones, there is a 100K to ground, and a 1M in series to form the "Ratio" divider.tubedogsmith wrote:It looks like it has another resistor going to ground off the board too doesn't it?Funkalicousgroove wrote:The control on the amp I have here is labelled "Overdrive Presence" and uses a 500K pot, and a .0039uf cap to ground

Randall Smith prob patented that, as that is same for a few older boogies in design!Funkalicousgroove wrote:The control on the amp I have here is labelled "Overdrive Presence" and uses a 500K pot, and a .0039uf cap to ground

Just because Smith/Boogie has patented something doesn't necessarily mean that they originally came up with that something. To wit, Dumble was making channel-switching amps well before MB came out with the MKII... and look who has the patent on that one?groovtubin wrote:Randall Smith prob patented that, as that is same for a few older boogies in design!Funkalicousgroove wrote:The control on the amp I have here is labelled "Overdrive Presence" and uses a 500K pot, and a .0039uf cap to ground
Or, perhaps that was your point?
