Source for PI trim pot

Post by 10thTx »

I've done a search on the forum. I've looked at Small Bear Electronics. I've looked at Surplus Supply of Nebraska. I've looked at Mouser Electronics. Most of the ones I'm finding are only rated for 300v.

At Mouser, I found a trim pot rated for 400v but the cost of one was $31! (Mouser Part # 652-3292L-1-103MLF)

I'm looking for a 10k trim pot with a rating of at least 350v. Anybody have a source and order number for one.

The voltage "across" that pot will not be anywhere near 350V. I think the 10K bias pot that Hoffman sells will be sufficient.

Please be patient with me …………

I think I may already have a 10k trim pot from Hoffman?

The phase invertor is connected to node C which is 330v on my particular amp. Wouldn't that be a consideration in needing a higher rating? I've found a bunch of 300v Bourn's trim pots.

The phase invertor plates have 240v and 247v on them.

So, you have roughly 100v across a 100K plate resistor. If you put a 10K pot in series with that 100K there will only be roughly 10v across the pot.

It's a cheap one that I got at Harbor Freight. They had a good sale on some open box models. Mine is missing one bead.
