Dumble Amp ODS types with descriptions?

So I'm reading through all the forum and getting a little info here and there about the different ODS types (non-HRM, HRM, Skyline, etc.) and I'm just more confused. Is there some kind of a timeline w/ descriptions of the different types of ODS out there someone could point me to?

At some point soon I want to build one, but I have no clue which one .

Any help on pointing me in the right direction is much appreciated.

I'll try to look around. Some of them are just changed format of images. I can possibly fix them with a bulk db update. Others are because the files are on remote servers, and they're now lost.

I took a peek and they're direct links. They're no longer there, so nothing I can do to recover them. In the case of some images, the format for how phpbb represented them changed, so the files still are there, but the 'link' to them wasn't right and an update fixes them displaying, but I do still need to look to fix those types.
