Standel Modded by Dumble

I stumbled upon this Ry Cooder rig article and they mention he has a Standel amp modded by HAD: https://www.fretboardjournal.com/featur ... -outtakes/

Cooder obtained this ultra-rare Howard amplifier by subscribing to a Phoenix newspaper and scouring the classifieds listings. “[Howard] built amps for steel players on the Standel model,” Cooder explains. “Being from Phoenix, he wasn’t an elegant guy like Standell. This thing is loud and rude and it sounds like Bakersfield. That’s what this thing sounds like, it’s insane.” He also owns a Howard amp head that came from Duane Eddy.

Does anyone have more intel on this?

Ry is Playing in London in a couple of months but I'm on tour and can't go, he's playing the same venue I'm doing but 3 weeks before!!

Good spot, I actually thought of a tweedle due to the tube rectifier and few knobs...but then thought this may be one of the super early models so was not too sure...

Good to know about Ry's gig, I may try to get tickets and if I can get to speak to anyone from his tech team I will ask about this amp
