hot rod deluxe OT in a D'Lite opinions?

Post by dragonbat13 »

Whats everyones opinion on the hot rod deluxe output transformer from fender? Is it a good transformer to use in a D'lite with a pair of 6l6's? I have found info about using it in this amp but nothing on how well it really sounds.

Thanks

i think it sounds ok in a HRD. if you have allready then try it. if not I would buy the '44 ot from brownote or a multitap bassman ot from allen or mojo.

I've used it in several builds - works great for 40 watt and below amps and with the 4 and 8 ohm taps it's perfect for a single speaker combo style amp that you might use with an extension cab.
