Is this Larry Carlton tone "all Dumble?"

Post by MakerDP »

On his album "Greatest Hits Re-Recorded Volume One" there is a song called RCM. I love that nasty growling tone he is getting. Is that all his Dumble or do you think there is some pedal-action going on there?

Obviously there is a little bit of delay, but that overdrive is magical! Kind of reminds me of Sonny Landreth's tone.

Hard to say for sure, but I think it could be. The ODS is capable of a very wide range of sounds, including the more extreme flavors of overdrive.
