Hi,
still studying the schematic of SSS #002. Regarding the anode and cathode resistors in the mixer gain stage (V2 and V3): In the pictures of #002 both (all in all 4) resistors are huge, probably rated 5 watt or so. For the cathode resistor in the cathode follower this is comprehensible to me, but why are the anode resistors (V2a and V3a) also rated so high ? There shouldn`t be such a high current in that half of the tube. Can anyone explain that to me ?

Hello Lars,
I am no expert on this particular circuit but I am a strong believer that Dumble used certain components for the way they sounded as well as their wattage rating.
