Hi Guys,
As promised here's some finished pics of the amp/speaker and Dumbleator.
special thanks to Martin Manning for going the extra mile with me on this one, but big thanks to everyone who helped me achieve what a year ago seemed like the impossible.

Indeed it does! What's your verdict on the D'lator? Must-have or not?

To be honest Martin, with modern FX like TC and line 6 they handle non buffered loops very well so if your amp sounds like you want it then I'd say don't bother.
I've found the Dumbleator interesting in so far as it can be used as an extra tone shaping, and kind of extra master volume control so the jury is still out for me about it.
I don't have a bright cap on the master of my amp so the Dumbleator bright switches can give an extra top end lift if required which for some things is nice as my amp is very neutral sounding.
I'm just putting my studio back to its normal state now so the soldering iron and multi meter are going away for a while so I can return to my proper job of player/writer/Producer.
As I've been offered another chassis and cab for free then I will makes another amp later in the year, deciding what to make though is the problem. The perfect amp at the moment would be the clean from my JTM 45 treble channel with the Dumble OD.

Marcus,
Glad to see that you've succeeded in completing your amp and d-lator; looks very nice.
I think the d-lator is an important addition to the amp because, as you've mentioned, it does provided additional tone shaping and acts as a separate master volume; especially useful in lower-volume environments.
