Sure,
Switch in up or down position puts a cap in, middle or off position gives the wire (no cap). The diagram is with the switch oriented so the switching is up and down.
That DPDT (on-on-on) switch diagram looks like something I posted to freestompboxes.org !

Yours is cleaner and structurally sturdier, I like it better as well.
I'm going to try some Takman MF in a few places soon, so when I do I will make the switch.

I know this is an amp forum, but wanted to upload a picture of the completed stompbox as well (note the effect routing switch in the center).
