SSS #2 as Bass amp -any experience/opinion ?

Will SSS #2 work as Bass amp. I am planning to build a new bass amp. I am looking for clean sound Power 100 -150 W would be alright.
I have 5f6a Bassman clone that sounds great but doesn't have enough headroom.
I know that I may tweak few components like OT - Hammond 1750WR 135W 40Hz-15kHz but before I start want to know if is it worth it.

I've never built a SSS , so I can not say anything, but if you want 150w of power, I think you need a custom PT.

If you want 85/90W rms Twin PT is ok.
