I really like the sound of these tubes and have been using them in all my amps however in the last few months it seems I've had a rash of failures. Anyone else having this problem? What is another good sounding new production tube? I tried winged C's, they sounded good but almost every pair I bought drifted way out of spec for matched tubes after burn-in.

I have noticed that as well with some vendors.

A couple years ago I started buying my power tubes from Doug's Tubes.

He burns them in, then matches them.

Every set I have bought from him have been stable.

Thanks Mark, I'm beginning to realize that's probably worth the extra expense.
