This amp could use new caps ...bryanclark wrote:Yes, this amp was used on ALL the Mike Post session dates: Magnum PI, Remington Steele, A-Team, Simon and Simon, Hill Street Blues, and more. He also used this amp on 16 Candles, Weird Science, etc..
We will be featuring Steve on our next episode (and his dumble) and he talks about the amp, his career, etc..he did say that it is all original and no mods/upgrades have ever been done to it. He got it from HAD in 1983 aorund the same time that Robben and Larry got theirs.
Steve is a personal friend of myself and my partner on the show Adam. Steve taught at USC (Univ. of So Cal) and Adam and myself both are graduates from there - many years after Steve left though. Steve was actually Adam's teacher when he was in high school. small world!
Just wanted to say thanks to the forum for so much expertise and knowledge on this subject! It's a great education for me![]()
If anyone knows or is interested in this amp, Steve is going to sell it and I can make the necessary introductions (I'm not looking for $, just helping him out).
cheers,
Bryan
