That's how I did mine, on/off hrm mid pot and also a relay, same on the clean tone stack, lots of flexibility. 4 button foot switch does FET, clean boost, OD, HRM boost.
With the OD in the middle you can step on 2 buttons at a time to get the flavor of OD you want, and if you're playing clean you can leave the HRM boost engaged the whole time via pot or footswitch and then kick in just OD or OD and cleanboost together for "rock city" mode.
