#102 Voltage Chart?

Post by JazzGuitarGimp »

Hi Everyone!

Can someone please point me in the direction of the RF #102 Voltage Chart (if it exists)? If it doesn't exist, can anyone tell me what to expect at the five B+ nodes?

Thanks!

I don't have the info, but I sure would like to have it. I'm trying to spec a PT for a Dumble dual preamp and this would help me also.

So I'm popping some popcorn and pulling up a chair. :D

With a BF Twin PT, B+1 ~450V, B+2 ~450V, B+3 ~425V, B+4 ~320V, B+5 ~310V. The original 102 had ~460V B+1 but it did not use a BF Twin PT.

On my build, PI plates 288-292V, V2 200-210V, V1 high 190s to 205V, using the HAD dropping resistor values and an 022699 choke.

I also have a buffered internal loop and those B+ voltages are 240V on the CF and 345V on the recovery stage, both of which are right on the money with the Claus-umbelator schematic. 47K dropper on the screen node to 345V then 82K to 240V.

David, thanks so much for this info.

You really don't need that amount of detail info for a preamp supply, really the half the voltage chart won't even apply. All you need is any PS scheme that will give you a 350-400 VDC loaded supply at around 30-40mA and maybe 1.5A on the filaments if you are doing a built in loop. If it's something relativity simple, just use a Fender standalone reverb PT.

Something like this would mostly cover whatever you had in cooked up, plus more.

300-300 @ 50mA (over 400+V unloaded as FWB)
6.3 @ 350mA (relays)
6.3VCT @ 2A (filaments)

The voltages (including bias) are all on the Layout!!
