accent knob?

Hi I was watching this video of a dumble amp being played

I am building the #124 can this "accent" knob be added? does anybody no what this actually does. Also the dumble is being played through a vox with blue alnico speakers which manufacturer makes those?

As mentioned above it is a presence control.

I am pretty sure that particular amp was a "transition generation" one, originally built with an accent switch, and later updated with a full presence pot (as shown in #124 layout/schem).
