using a wah

where does everyone run there wah?through the front of a dumble clone or effects loop? Im using a little dummy I bought from Moss (brown note) to run my time effects through my effects loop but for the wah it sounds to loud through the loop so now Im using it through the front of the amp and it's sounds great just curios if anyone else is running there wah like that, with a dumblator type of unit running also?
