k, here's a different question. Are there any well known access points to real dumbles, just to be able to either try them or hear them in person? (I assume a number are owned by studios, but access would be problematic.)

FYI, Dave Schaeffer at overland express will sell them, he just wants all the dough!! He quoted me $23,500 on the orange suede one he had on there about a year ago.

Looks like there are two different sellers/auctions for #0215 on eBay right now. Jeez...

I'd be more than a little suspect of the sunjin137 seller. He's had no buy or sell feedback for 6 years so I wouldn't be surprised if somebody hacked the account. Curious that he also listed it as number 215 though. That's just weird.Chris333 wrote:Looks like there are two different sellers/auctions for #0215 on eBay right now. Jeez...

The one on Ebay is definately an odd one, but I'd NEVER spent that much money for something so valueable on Ebay! These amps can also be in a bad condition, because the preowner used it carelessly. To me it's a must to check these things out myself, before buying them. Find yourself someone who wants to sell at a price, you can pay. But I guess, if you try them out in a studio, you probably might be unhappy with your guitartone for the rest of your life, because the Dumble you tried once blasted them all. So, it's up to you!
