k, here's a different question. Are there any well known access points to real dumbles, just to be able to either try them or hear them in person? (I assume a number are owned by studios, but access would be problematic.)

FYI, Dave Schaeffer at overland express will sell them, he just wants all the dough!! He quoted me $23,500 on the orange suede one he had on there about a year ago.

I'd be more than a little suspect of the sunjin137 seller. He's had no buy or sell feedback for 6 years so I wouldn't be surprised if somebody hacked the account. Curious that he also listed it as number 215 though. That's just weird. :?:

The one on Ebay is definately an odd one, but I'd NEVER spent that much money for something so valueable on Ebay! These amps can also be in a bad condition, because the preowner used it carelessly. To me it's a must to check these things out myself, before buying them. Find yourself someone who wants to sell at a price, you can pay. But I guess, if you try them out in a studio, you probably might be unhappy with your guitartone for the rest of your life, because the Dumble you tried once blasted them all. So, it's up to you! :)
