does anyone know what an Odysey amp is worth?

I have an Odysey head (100 watts)and was wondering the value?serial #00012(excellent shape)

Hi BillD,

I have not idea what the amp is worth but I'd be interested in pictures of the amp including pictures of the inside. What did you use tha amp for? It is a power amp, right?

i will take some pictures when i get a chance and open it up again..i used it as my power amp with a carvin preamp and a 4x12 bottom for guitar..i use a mesa 50/50 stereo power amp now and the sound isnt much different..i would have loved to have a second one when i went stereo but..i was lucky enough to get this one when i bought my house in santa cruz county..i believe they used it to add power to a Hammond organ they had ..and i think i am only the second owner.. I actually remember the Odysey room(discoteque) that it was named after...

Call Dave Schaeffer at www.overlandexpress.com he can get you a value. THat is an interesting piece of history, although I don't know how valueable it is.

yes it did sell for $6200 and the guy who bought it was very happy..I got a picture of the inside before i let it go..i will try and post it here now..thanks for your insight...

well of course ,, Isnt that so for every brandname amp ??

but now it is a old Dumble,,, and they are worth loads of money simple as that
just like a -59 Gibson les paul is not a brand new cheap Ephiphone
that does fairly well too.
