Bangkok Chassis

Thank you for your comment.
The chassis use 2mm. aluminium steel. that i think it strong enough to hold the component and transformer weight.

Received Bankok Chassis 90's

Post by wickit182 »

I received my Bankok chassis. It is a great looking except for the mounting holes. No big deal. I will make do. Maybe he will change this feature on future runs. I have ordered two times from Natchanis and both orders the chassis look real good. The first I ordered I had the tips of the corners a little dented. On the latest order of 90's chassis, there is a printing error though on the run I received 04-07. Speaker jack label states "100WATTSave". Which is just fine. I guess that would be 100 watts avenue or 100 watt save I am not sure what the meaning would be. This is just fine with me. If it ever ends up in the wrong hands you can always tell it is a repro. It took me a few emails but did get his attention and the chassis was on the way. Recived in about 7 to 8 days.

@Funk: Did I get you right Funk?
You're going to have some silver face chassis in the 80's style?

@natchanis: Will you build improoved chassis in 1/8" aluminum and corrected dimensions and holeplaces and sizes?

Silver chassis amps are 1978 and earlier, and generally considered "less than desirable"

I can have some custom made for you but you'd need to buy 30 pcs, Silver chassis amps don't have a master volume, presence control, or a complete loop.
