About the black washer...You can see that type was used on SSS #4 in the Maverick Music pics.

This kind of washer and flat head / slotted / N 10-24 UNC / 4" / steel / zinc plated screws you'll find on many late seventies and early eighties Dumble amps that still have the early fastening system with four insert nuts. On earlier amps with these four insert nuts you'll often find the same screws with nickel plated washers.
