330k's in place of 470k's
What would be difference in sound/feel when using 330k's in place of 470k's on the presicion power filter of Dumble (if any) ?

You'd have more of a load on the power supply, which may drop voltages somewhat, and you'd change the time constant of the RC filters, so the caps would drain faster when power is off. A while back I read, somehwere, that the commonly used values (470K for 47uF, 330K for 100uF and 270K for 200uF) were actually vendor-recommended values and not something that was picked arbitrarily.mat wrote:What would be difference in sound/feel when using 330k's in place of 470k's on the presicion power filter of Dumble (if any) ?
